If you're aiming to spice up your drum playing by adding some ethnic, African or Latin flavours to your drumming or if you choose to specialize in percussion
as your main musical endeavour, Jam has what you’re looking for. Jam Music Conservatory offers a creative study on Afro-Latin Percussion. We teach instruments
such as Congas, Bongos, Timbales, Djembe, Guiros, Maracas, Cajon, Claves etc…
We create an ambience stimulating creativity, a playful spirit and the philosophy to develop and expand your musical mind in a positive, inspiring environment. We will set goals for each lesson and for each practice week like a step-by-step process. In addition to developing their practices in the contexts of traditional world music, students also focus on contemporary experiments in live performance, giving them chance to explore improvisation even with the blend of Indian music.
We’ll cover the relevant topics including: son clave, rhumba clave, 6/8 clave, tumbao, guaguanco, reggae, bossa nova, mambo, bembe and songo, etc.
